WWE's Jeff Hardy was arrested and jailed in North Carolina on Friday after authorities searched his home and found enough drugs to start a small pharmacy. Via ProWrestling.net, police "discovered 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Soma pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, and a residual amount of powder cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia." Apparently, you just can't just stockpile this stuff in your industrial-sized medicine cabinet with the intent to start your own business. Even if you own one of those white lab coats.
The WWE star is facing "two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule three controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia."
Hardy's brother posted his bail -- allegedly $125,000 -- which, as PWTorch.com's James Caldwell writes, "... doesn't seem like a very smart investment" for "an estimated $2,500 worth of drugs." No, no it doesn't.
For his part, Hardy tweets that the news of his arrest has been blown out of proportion. "A lot of exaggerations are out there today, don't believe everything you read 4 it is not true, I am at home and fine-thanks for your concern."

CM Punk snitched on him.
THat would not suprise me a bit. DAM CM PUNK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i bet he did i should hid my weed i think i maybe next
I knew he resigned from WWE just so he could do drugs. I feel vindicated.
Gee, what a suprise, who would have thought it possible???
I'm not shocked at all sadly. Of all of WWE's frequent violators of it's so-called "Wellness Policy", Jeff was always one that I considered the most at-risk to do something incredibly stupid.
ha i wouldnt believe it just yet, probably a storyline, wait and see
Dude its not no story. Anything related to wrestling that nakes the news is real if the death vince realy happend the news team would have had a field day.
Genius, it's not a storyline. Storylines are part of WWE programming, not the news. It would not be on real news were it storylines. If you're so naive to believe that, you need to grow up.
I totally agree with you. He'll be back. Needed some time off and not to do drugs
Headlines you will never see: NFL player avoids sex with girlfriend before marriage. NBA player drug test comes up clean. MLB player given safe driver award..........etc.
Now we KNOW why he quit. He's been given more than a FEW chances by the business to get his life in order, yet he continues to throw away a career some people would kill for. He's pathetic, pure and simple. I hope this ENDS his career, as he has NO place in the public eye with children idolizing his sorry drug/steroid using azz.
Throwing his life and career away, could have had it all....I can see why he quit.
I knew on the heals of the Anna Nicole and Michael Jackson deaths there would be a witch hunt. I dont know about the trace amounts of Cocaine but Vicodin and Soma I could see this guy with them. do you think the high risk maneuver he does jumping from the top of ladders, the swanton bomb (hope I spelled the right), jumping out of the ring onto tables etc comes without paying a price? I would be surprised of he did not have pain relievers and muscle relaxants at hand. Plus those are only about a 3 month supply. because Vicodin oftem times needs to stay in the body to be effective and it taken 2 to 3 times daily. Get a grip people we need to find the real drug dealer, cocaine, meth, heroine and such not extra strength asprin.
have got to agree with you on that one! they just showed how to make meth on the news today! go figure

Are you serious? what normal person can get a 3 month prescription for vicodin? Not even "House" can. Look for an arrest of the prescribing m.d. next
Your right about quantities of the meds. I use to work as a pharmacy tech and we would give out 100 somas for a 28 day period and a 100 vics for 30 regularly. The possibilty of him having a multi month prescription is very high
How convenient you left out the steroids. Regardless of your sympathy for this person, breaking the law and being a so-called role model, isn't what kids need to imitate. Dope is just that, Dope. "A trace amount of cocaine" is still cocaine. Having it in your house, is still wrong. Stop justifying drug use.
I just wanted to thank you for making that point. I know I would be in pain after doing what they all do, so it makes perfect sense that he would have that on hand. Everyone is just so damn self-rightous on here, and you are the voice of reason. As for the other things, since it was a trace amount, it could have been someone elses, after a party of something. Again, I just wanted to thank you for you pointing out the obvious to the ignorant.
